OVERVIEW OF HOMELESSNESS:
Homelessness is increasing more and more each year in the United States. There is a substantial amount of reasons people become homeless, such as low-wage jobs, unemployment, domestic violence in homes, mental illness, etc. When homelessness occurs, it leads to a lack of basic needs, such as protection from the elements. Homelessness occurs mainly in large cities within states, where they can be exposed to a variety of dangers, such as violence, sickness/bacteria, weather-permitting problems, etc. There have been attempts at helping homelessness, but it is not permanently cured.
