The impact that homelessness has on a nation wide scale. More than 500,000 people are homeless nation wide, with a quarter of them being children. Homelessness leads to many issues, for example: health issues (mentally, physically and emotionally), lack of basic needs, personal entrapment, and risk of life. Drugs oftentimes also tie into the life of a homeless individual, which contributes to the physical health concept as well.
